Visible patches on child's stretch corduroy pants

These stretch corduroy pants were to be handed down from an older child to a younger child, but they had one large and one small hole in the back/seat area. Fortunately, I had some stretch corduroy (harvested from pants that had been handed down to me by an aunt) in my stash and, since the parents were fine with a visible mend, I was able to sew the patches with that non-matching (navy vs. turquoise) fabric.
