One of the soft flannel pocket linings of this jacket had extensive holes.

My client wanted the soft feel of flannel for the pocket lining, but, as the color of the lining wouldn't be visible when the jacket was worn, she was flexible with what I chose, so I was able to use some deep blue/purple flannel that I had on hand. The lining was worn enough that a full replacement was necessary.

After: the new pocket lining, shown inside out.

After: both pocket linings — the blue that I replaced and the white that didn't need to be replaced.

After: I did have to do some sewing that was visible on the outside of the pocket; I tried to make this new sewing blend in as much as possible.

After: here's a peek into the pocket, with the lining just visible.
