Cabled patch on cabled sweater

My client's sweater had a hole in the arm.

I found a yarn of similar color, weight, and fiber content. I then took a close look at the cable pattern and (after a few tests) was able to mimic it almost exactly. I knited a small patch and sewed it on over the hole. (Click on any image to see a larger image and enter slideshow view.)
